TUTR - Through the Eyes of the Founders

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting. For the first post on the #TUTRblog I thought I'd give the story of TUTR, well, what's been written of the story so far. We are yet to launch. We are planning for October 2018; however, this date was extended from the original June 2018 launch. Obviously, things are already not going exactly as planned. These are the some of the things I will speak about here.

The journey to provide an app that connects students and tutors like never before. The Uber for Tutors. A mobile app that literally puts thousands of live tutors inside your pocket. TUTR is my first start-up.

From its conception on a flight from Cuba to Atlanta, to now only weeks before launch I will explain in a very informal manner how things have come about. At times I will skip things, I will ramble, and I will sound like I don't know what I'm talking about. Because honestly, most of the time I don't. I am filled with passion beyond belief. I will not give up. So, you will either see me continually crash and burn until I make it, or you will see me continually crash and burn until I make it. There is no other option.

This will be the theme of this blog. You will read of my struggles, my successes, and everything in between. Although yes I was a sociolinguist, most of the written grammar will probably be incorrect and my spelling rivals that of a 2nd grader. Auto-correct doesn't even know what I try to spell at times (funny story about spelling mistake at a Language Conference) so be prepared for that. In any matter, I hope you guys enjoy the wild, strange ramblings of another human trying to achieve a dream.
